There's No Easy Way Out.

There's No Easy Way Out.

Just so you know, I wanted to throw up the mesmerizing scene from Rocky IV which kicks off this 'Fantasia-like' montage....and then I decided to see what Robert Tepper's music video might hold for us.  You're welcome.  Sure, who would dare argue that the moment Rocky kicks his Lamborghini into first their pulse doesn't quicken?  The entire scene makes you want to dash outside, find the first abandon barn strewn with antique farm equipment and start training.

However, Tepper's music video might make you want to burn the entire damn barn down.  The greasy hair-do, the trench coat, the Gumby dance moves and that VEST!

He looks like he's dancing in the studio where they started building the Agro Crag from GUTS.  Then, at the last minute, Nickelodeon was told this Jester of Jams....nay, this Minstrel of Music Montages would love to utilize the space for his next victory.  Leave the set as is.  Robert is going to dominate this space.  And dominate he does.

Quick.  Rocky Balboa vs. Robert Tepper.  Who takes the belt?   You'd think that's a no-brainer, right?  Well after seeing that music video I'm not so sure anymore.  As a matter of fact, I think Tepper takes it in a landslide.  Those moves?  Who stops him?

My God.  He looks like Scott Hall from wrestling's NWO.  Hell, he might be!

So we're smack dab in the middle of the weekend and I hope there's no easy way out.  I don't want it to end.  And I wish Robert was still cranking out ocular circuses for us to enjoy.  Who knows, maybe he'll do a music video for the next Furious movie.

Come back, Robert Tepper.  Stay here, weekend.  Rock n' roll folks.
